Self-hosting the Runtime on Kubernetes is not available in this release.

There is no Helm chart or supported Kubernetes deployment in this release. Replicas, remote ingress, TLS, and backups for a cluster deployment are not qualified.

What to use now

Run the Runtime with Docker on one machine, and run your app server on the same machine or on the stack's Compose network.

What exists today

These pieces exist, but they are not a supported cluster deployment:

  • The Runtime image ghcr.io/nylorun/runtime:<version> accepts --role api, --role worker, or --role all.
  • GET /ready returns 503 until Postgres, Restate, and S2 are reachable.
  • The container is configured with NYLORUN_DATABASE_URL, NYLORUN_RESTATE_*, NYLORUN_S2_*, and the listener variables listed on Docker.
